If you're running a 2018–2023 Isuzu D-MAX or Mazda BT-50 and thinking of adding a nudge bar with an H rack,

there’s a critical detail you can’t ignore:

Your H rack must be at least 1820mm high – measured from the ground to the top of the rack.

Why? Because anything lower could trigger your Ute’s front-facing windscreen camera , and that’s no joke.
A low rack can confuse the system and cause automatic emergency braking to kick in without warning, even when there’s no danger ahead.

That means sudden stops. Risky driving. Possible damage. And a whole lot of hassle.

Don’t risk it.
Set your H rack height right – minimum 1820mm – and keep your Ute safe, smart, and road-ready.
